Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee property development and finishing projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will manage timelines, budgets, contractors, and quality standards, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with Maltese regulations and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage residential and/or commercial development projects from inception to handover.

Oversee all finishing works including plastering, tiling, electrical, plumbing, gypsum, carpentry, painting, and fixtures.

Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.

Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.

Ensure compliance with local building regulations, MEPA/PA permits, and health & safety standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.

Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.

Resolve site issues, delays, and technical challenges efficiently.

Ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.

Prepare project reports and documentation.

Coordinate snag lists and final handover procedures.

Manage client expectations and provide regular updates.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in construction/project management (preferably in Malta)

  • Strong knowledge of local construction practices, finishing standards, and suppliers

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • Familiarity with Planning Authority regulations and Maltese building codes

  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office

  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities

  • Valid driving licence
