Overview

We are looking for a talented and passionate Indian Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and a flair for creating authentic dishes that delight our guests.

- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
- Develop and innovate new recipes while maintaining consistency in quality and flavour.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional cuisines

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Strong spice knowledge

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
