We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee daily operations in our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Stock Management

• Expiry Dates: Monitor and manage product expiry dates.
• Rotating of Stocks: Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out).
• Stock Allocation: Assist in sorting stock into designated allocation spaces.
• Labeling: Ensure all shelves are properly labeled.

2. Teamwork

• Work collaboratively as part of the warehouse and distribution team.

3. Warehouse Management

• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse at all times.
• Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day warehouse running.
• Stock Movement: Manage stock movement inside and outside the warehouse (collection and loading).
• Trailer Unloading: Ensure trailers are unloaded and stock is entered into the appropriate shelving.
• Product Protection: Ensure products are not left on loading bays exposed to sun.
• Loose Products: Send loose products to the factory for repacking or group with similar products at the front.
• Dedicated Area Oversight: Assign personnel to manage specific warehouse areas.

4. Coordination with Distribution Office

• Check and confirm with the Distribution Office what needs to be loaded on trucks.

5. Health & Safety

• Post signs indicating danger areas.
• Maintain accessible First Aid boxes.
• Ensure protective wear is used (safety shoes, high-visibility vests).
• Remove broken glass and other hazards.
• Keep corridors clear at all times.
• Keep loading bays clear for easy access.
• Employees must not use earphones during work.

6. Upkeep & Maintenance

• Maintain equipment such as lifters and palletizers.
• Clean outside areas:
• Sweep and clear weeds.
• Empty bins.
• Process plastics from empties yard in baler.
• Keep gate floor railings clear of debris.
• Perform general in-house maintenance.

7. Distribution Outdoor Area

• Maintain cleanliness of the area, including the empties yard.
• Organize separators, pallets, and empties.
• Transport empties to the yard as required.

8. Uniforms

• Monitor reordering levels.
• Distribute uniforms to personnel.
• Ensure all personnel wear uniforms daily, including safety shoes.

9. Empties Yard

• Open and close the yard.
• Supervise daily work in the empties yard.

10. Store Keeping Personnel / Pickers & Timesheets

• Oversee personnel responsible for loading trucks.
• Manage weekly timesheets.

11. Loading of Orders

• Identify and prepare loads for issuance.
• Assist Distribution team with second loads as needed.
• Prepare loads on the loading bay for immediate loading once drivers return, avoiding sun exposure.

12. Miscellaneous Duties

• Perform any operational, administrative, or managerial duties as necessary in the absence of coworkers (due to leave or sick leave) or as required by the company.
