Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.

- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and update employee information as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management review.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure alignment on employee status changes and benefits.
- Support year-end processes, including tax filings and preparation of annual payroll reports.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing or a related financial role.

  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively.
