We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and update employee information as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management review.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure alignment on employee status changes and benefits.
- Support year-end processes, including tax filings and preparation of annual payroll reports.
Proven experience in payroll processing or a related financial role.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively.
