We are looking for a creative and experienced individual to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring the quality of food produced, and helping to create new and exciting dishes.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Manage and direct the kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor food quality and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the highest standards
- Create new and exciting dishes, as well as modify existing recipes to create new flavors
- Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are following health and safety regulations
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
- Assist in menu planning and cost control
- Assist in training and development of kitchen staff
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or a related field.
