Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Claims Handler. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims, ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Review and assess insurance claims submitted by policyholders.
- Gather and analyze relevant information and documentation to determine claim validity.
- Communicate with claimants, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather additional information as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of claims and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Investigate claims by conducting interviews, reviewing reports, and collaborating with other departments as necessary.
- Make decisions regarding claim settlements and negotiate with claimants when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to claims processing.

Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications related to Insurance.
- Previous experience in claims handling or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations is a plus.
