Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and personable individual to join our team as a receptionist at our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for agents.
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding insurance products and services.
- Maintain an organized filing system for client documents and records.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Support the agency staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including processing payments and maintaining financial records.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including managing social media accounts and updating the agency website.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of insurance products and services is preferred but not required.
